Arletha Mueller Ryan is an oil painter and a print maker. She has a BA in Art and Architecture from the University of Oregon and has studied at Marylhurst College, Portland State University and Pacific Northwest College of Art. In 1997 she attended a four week residency at Vermont Studio Center.

Arletha's work can be found in the Vivian and Gordon Gilkey Print Collection in the Portland Art Museum, the City of Portland 1% of Art, The City of Tualatin, Washington County 1% of Art and numerous corporations and private collections
