Portland Bridges - Plus
Woodblock Prints by Arletha M Ryan
The woodblock prints of the ten bridges that cross the Willamette River in Portland Oregon are a limited edition of 30 prints of each bridge. They were done in the Japanese printmaking technique using the bamboo barren to do the printing. The paper is a handmade mulberry paper. The printing blocks
were destroyed after the editions were printed making them collectors items.
The prints are included in the Gordon and Vivian Gilkey Print Collection at the Portland Art Museum, in the city of Portland 1% of art, in the
Washington County 1% of art collection, Portland General Electric, other corporations and private collections.
In addition to the bridge prints, I have other woodblock prints
available.
